This lamp is fully hand made and finished-off. It is cire perdu made, the lost wax method for making bronze objects.So this object is not made of brass, no machine was used. It has its original, fully hand made, very beautiful chain. With wonderful elements and a hook with extra detail. Authentic signs of age and wear, in very good order, with authentic old, warm dark patine, brown with blakish spots, the patine is not faked, but the bronze has darkened through the years, due to well keeping and the grease causing a protection it has been prevented from oxidation, only cleaning with a brush and polishing by hand with a soft cloth gives this kind of surface.
